A big thank you goes out to Gawler and District College B-12 teacher Peta Tooley, for her dedication to consistently providing a positive, uplifting, and wellbeing-focused space where her students feel safe, relaxed, and ready to learn.
Having identified the importance of a child’s successful transition from preschool to reception, Peta developed a more effective partnership between preschools and reception teachers, helping families be more highly engaged and students feel more at ease. Through her work she’s achieved overwhelmingly positive results, with students and their families viewing reception as an exciting change rather than one filled with fear and anxiety.
