Over 6000 students descended on the Adelaide Entertainment Centre last week to kick off rehearsals for the annual Primary School Music Festival – Stars in the Arena.
A record number of students will be involved in this year’s festival, with 300 schools participating in this iconic event.
The festival consists of four evenings of concerts showcasing a choir made up of more than 1300 primary school students, a full orchestra of primary and high school students and an 80-student performance troupe who have choreographed full movement routines to coincide with each song.
The concert series will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on the following evenings:
- Tuesday 7 September, concert starts at 7pm
- Wednesday 8 September, concert starts at 7pm
- Friday 10 September, concert starts at 7pm
- Saturday 11 September, concert starts at 7pm Choir
