The Australian Education Union is taking industrial action on Friday 1 September 2023.

The majority of government schools and preschools will be operating as normal or with modified learning programs.

Schools and preschools that will be closed all day are listed below.

Schools and preschools are notifying parents and carers directly and are available to answer any questions they may have.

Every site will have a staff member onsite to ensure no child is turned away if they are dropped off unexpectedly.

A number of schools had already scheduled pupil free days this Friday. These schools communicated well in advance to enable families to plan for alternative care arrangements for their children.
