This page explains how to nominate for selection in the 12 and under and 10 to 19 years multiclass cross country state teams to compete at the School Sport Australia championships in 2024.

Who can nominate to be selected

To nominate for selection, students must be:

• enrolled at an affiliated school.
• born in 2012, 2013, 2014 for the 12 years and under team.
• born in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 2009, 2010, 2011 and hold a classification for the 10 to 19 years multiclass team.

School Sport SA will only be selecting a 10 to 12 years age group team to compete in the School Sport Australia Championships. Athletes in the 13 to 19 years age group, that are not multi-class athletes, can nominate through Athletics SA for the Athletics SA team to compete at the separate Athletics Australia event.
