Seaford Secondary College – major upgrades

Seaford Secondary College has received a facility upgrade.

Key features of the upgrade include:

• new performing arts facility between the senior school and community library providing improved street frontage and connectivity
• refurbishment of middle school learning areas, home economics and student amenities
• refurbishment of senior school centre including improved outdoor connections to a new study courtyard
• extension to existing building for special options GLA and sensory/withdrawal space
• a new sports court and an upgrade to the existing court surfaces
• demolition of ageing infrastructure.

Upgrade details

Seaford Secondary College is receiving a special options upgrade to accommodate new specialised education facilities for students with disability.

The upgrade will deliver a new modular building connected to the existing special options building. It will provide access to dedicated support spaces for the special option classes, consisting of:

• general learning area
• flexible learning space
• storage and teacher preparation area.
