Bushfire updates and service closures

    Bushfire and Emergency Hotline: 1800 000 279

    Families can contact the department's hotline during the fire danger season and at other times as required. It provides information about school and preschool closures as a result of catastrophic fire danger days and bushfire activity.

    This hotline is available during business hours. A monitored messaging service is available outside of these times.
