The diving championships are for schools who nominate individual competitors from students aged between 10 and 19 years. Find out more about the event and how you can enter.
Who can participate
To participate in the event
- schools must be affiliated with School Sport SA.
- competitors must be aged between 10 and 19 years.
- Diver must be trained and capable to fulfil the dive list requirement.
Competitor age is calculated at 31 December in the year of competition.
- For individual events, competitors must participate in their age group.
- For the synchronised event, competitors can participate in an older age group to create a pair.

SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre, 443 Morphett Road, Oaklands Park.
Friday 4 April, 2025
The championships will begin at 8.30am and finish by 12.30pm.
Results
Entry fee
$22.00 including GST per student.
No payment is required on the day. A tax invoice will be sent to schools after the event.
How to enter
Schools submit the 2025 diving state championships nomination by Friday 21 March.
Event format
Diving SA Officials will be conducting the School Sport SA diving championships. There will be no limit to the number of divers from each school allowed to compete, providing they are able to perform the required dives.
- Divers will need to arrive in their school sport uniform
- Warmups will be from 8.30am and the competition will concluded around 1.00pm
- Order of events is springboard followed by synchronised if time permits.

Springboard
All competitors may use 1 and/ or 3 metre springboard

Synchronised
All divers will compete in the synchronised event.
Pairs would come from existing divers from the springboard event.
If divers do not have a partner, it will be organised once nominations are finalised.
Age groups for the pairs are below and can be boys/ girls or mixed combinations.
Divers may use springboards and/or platform in synchronised diving.
