To work or volunteer in education you must do mandatory notification training. This training is called RRHAN-EC.
Staff may need these training cycles and certificate expiry dates to help them meet some employment checks.
Current training cycle
If you did your training anytime from January 2024 to December 2026, it will expire on 31 December 2027.
If you did your training before 1 January 2024, it is expired. You need to check what training you need to do to keep your certificate current.
School-based staff and specific staff who work directly with children and young people must keep their training current. There must not be any gaps between 3 yearly training cycles.
