Build your strength

Today we'll build your aerobic fitness with a virtual surf life saving event. You'll need a safe space (inside or outside) without any fragile items to jump and move around, a towel, ruler or drink bottle, an alfoil ball and 2 cups.

Coordination is getting our left-hand side working with our right-hand side and our arms working with our legs, and we've got various challenges today where we're going to explore our coordination.

Strength, flexibility and mindfulness
The focus for today's physical activity will be a variety of postures and challenges that will allow you to explore the concepts of strength, flexibility and mindfulness. You'll need a safe space (inside or outside) without any fragile items to jump and move around, a towel to lay on and a pillow or cushion for your head.
Build your strength and fitness
Today's whole body workout will target our upper body, core and lower body through a series of exercises. You'll need a safe space (inside or outside) without any fragile items to jump and move around, a towel and 2 water bottles (optional for older students to use as resistance).
Canoe racing
Today's aerobic activity will take you on a virtual canoe race and give you a challenge to do at the end. You'll need a safe space (inside or outside) without any fragile items to jump and move around, a chair, pair of socks, 6 cups and a shoe.
Flexibility
How's your flexibility? Today we'll practice some exercises to help with your flexibility.We'll leave you with a fun activity at the end so be sure to join in today. You'll need a safe space (inside or outside) without any fragile items to jump and move around, a chair that can support you and can be tilted, 6 soft toys, a clothes basket and masking tape or chalk (to mark out lines).
