Health videos for provocations

TED-Ed (TED’s youth and education initiative) is a great companion for student provocations. This resource has video-based lessons about health topics including growth and development, medical conditions, consumer health, public health, nutrition, physical fitness, and emotional health.

Structure and features

TED-Ed has a library of original animated videos, provides an international platform for teachers to create their own interactive lessons, and helps curious students around the globe bring TED to their schools and gain presentation literacy skills.

Teachers can use the videos to spark curiosity and student thinking or as a platform to create online lessons for students, while families can encourage students to gather information to support an inquiry-based project.
