- Explore the Defining Moments in Australian History timeline.
- Select 2 or 3 events to compare:
- year 5 students choose event prior to 1900, year 6 students choose events after 1900.
- Use the Significant events worksheet to take notes on each event, then compare those events.
- This uses GREAT to help you define which is the most significant:
- Groundbreaking
- Remembered
- Effects that are far-reaching
- Affect on the future
- Terrific or terrifying.
