This website provides levelled courses for a broad range of languages, focussing on memorising vocabulary and short phrases through viewing, listening, reading and writing.
Courses are available for all languages of the Australian Curriculum, including Auslan.
Structure and features
The 'Memrise languages courses' website provides staged vocabulary lists with memorisation activities including listening to native speakers, reading, writing and listening.
Language courses developed by Memrise include 7 levels, and there is also a large number of user-developed courses.
For teachers
Teachers can create their own courses with concept-specific vocabulary, or get students to create their own word lists.
