Desmos is an interactive learning space where teachers use a class code to invite students to participate. The tasks require students to enter responses, move digital objects and in some cases provide reasons as to why they selected the answer. The tasks are suited to both junior and senior secondary students however the attached spreadsheet highlights tasks that are most suitable for years 7 to 10. The collection below is an examples of 10 tasks that are appropriate for students in years 7 to 9 when learning about linear functions.

Note that the polygraph activities are like the Guess Who game and allow students to connect with their classmates but it requires them to do the activity at the same time. Teachers must consider how they could coordinate this with their classes.
