Desmos is an interactive learning space where teachers invite students to participate with a class code.
Structure and features
This activity introduces students to probability through a spinner game. Which result is more likely - red or blue? Students answer this question by gathering and analysing class data and then applying what they've learned to consider the likelihood of other chance experiments.
The tasks require students to enter responses, move digital objects and in some cases provide reasons as to why they selected the answer. The teacher is able to manage the digital classroom from their dashboard and track student progress.
