Kidsnews has school education tasks and fun activities to help teachers, parents and students. It is made by teachers and is linked to the Australian Curriculum.
Structure and features
The are tasks for different year levels for each weekday. Daily tasks and fun activities are on the kidsnews learning at home page. Each day has 6 tasks. The first few are usually literacy and mathematics ones.
Here are some examples of mathematics tasks for different year levels:
- reception to year 2 – shape hunt (PDF 339KB)

- years 5 to 6 – factor tree (PDF 610 KB)
- years 7 to 9 – fractions, percentages and integers (PDF 399kb).
