Structure and features

For families

These activities are in an easy to follow format. They include things like making playdough, making shadows and exploring in the backyard.

For teachers

These resources were designed by the Western Australian Education Department to specifically help families understand and engage in STEM learning with their children. The content encourages hands on learning and families talking with their child.

It is written for families in a manner that supports them to follow the tasks or chose a task that appeals to them and their child. The easy to follow format guides families to follow tasks that are well described and have complementary visuals.
