Healthy eating at home

Information, ideas and inspiration to make healthy food choices, and involve children in cooking at home. Learning about healthy foods can never start too early.

Structure and features

Eat for Health offers advice about the amount and kinds of foods that we need to eat for health and wellbeing. This resource supports teachers and consumers with implementing the recommendations of the Australian Dietary Guidelines, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Guide to Healthy Eating.

Plus a fun interactive Five Food Groups Balance Game for R to 2.

Also included is an ‘eat the colours of the rainbow’ picture, and 2 cooking experiences.
