You can use your child's favourite toy to help develop language skills through a storytelling and play activity.
The learning potential website gives instructions about what to do for the activity and the materials you need. You can repeat it with a different story each time. The stories might be about a backyard cubby house, dancing to their favourite music or anything else your child can imagine.
For teachers
This is an opportunity for children and families to develop:
