Animal sorting

A hands on science learning task.

Structure and features

  1. Download the animals sorting cards from the STEM learning website.
  2. Cut the sheet into cards using a pair of scissors.
  3. Sort the animals into groups, take a photo of your sorting and write reasons for why you sorted them into these groups.
  4. Check your sorting with the attachment on this webpage.
  5. View other classification resources to learn why the animals are sorted into these groups.
