Teacher notes

This learning sequence provides opportunities for learning in physical sciences 'a push or a pull affects how an object moves or changes shape' and chemical sciences 'everyday materials can be physically changed in a variety of ways'. This learning should be attempted after some initial learning of forces.

The learning sheets provide opportunities for students to record their thinking and the results they observe from the investigations.
