What happens to a population when the environment changes?
Structure and features
Students interact with 2 simulations - building a dam and removing a dam. They can be used in sequence, either one coming first.
Students build a dam in the middle of a field, dividing an ecosystem in half to illustrate the effects of environmental changes.
They watch and collect data as the grass and then the rabbit populations in that region shift to one variant in the population.
