ScratchJr is a visual programming language designed to introduce coding skills to children ages 5 to 7.
Structure and features
ScratchJr is a free app for both iPad and Android tablets.
Using ScratchJr children can create their own interactive stories and games to make characters move, jump, dance and sing.

The ScratchJr teach page has teacher activities that can help teachers quickly learn how to do new things in the ScratchJr environment. The page also gives an overview of the ScratchJr interface.
