'Tagged'

This resource is based on 'Tagged', a short film about cyberbullying. Teachers and parents can help students define cyberbullying and digital reputation, and to critically evaluate the social and legal aspects of various online behaviours. Students will also analyse different ways that they can manage their online relationships.

Structure and features

Start by showing students this film and one or more of the interviews with the characters. You can use the slide presentation to explore the issues that the film raises, and then choose one of the 10- to 30-minute activities.

The activities can be delivered in any order and in different ways.

The length of the lesson will depend on the activities.

You can also send your students the link to the student page and let them explore on their own.

Teacher notes

This resource aligns with the Digital Technologies subject in the Australian Curriculum.

It relates to the sub-strand 'collaborating and managing' and in particular applying social and ethical protocols online.
