Hi everyone.
I'm Martin Westwell, Chief Executive of the Department for Education.
Thanks for attending today's session, AI: Working Smarter, Not Harder.
Today is the first in a series of sessions focused on exploring AI with our education community, and it supports our efforts to integrate AI meaningfully into our education context.
I'm really proud that South Australia has been the first state in the nation to trial EdChat, a secure, generative AI chatbot, custom-built for teaching and learning.
Today, you'll hear from some of our EdChat teachers about their experiences using artificial intelligence.
Hearing stories from our colleagues and learning from their experiences will provide us all with an opportunity to learn.
