This project aims to provide 50 words in every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language in Australia. Currently over 40 languages are represented across Australia, and each word entry has an audio recording to demonstrate correct pronunciation.

Short, fast-paced activities help develop fluency through a 5-minute-a-day vocabulary workout.

Duolingo.com is a self-paced and engaging language learning site and app.Students can use the Duolingo app or the duolingo website independently to improve their target language skills through interactive activities and challenges.Teachers can set up classes through schools.duolingo.com and set activities and assignments for students, tracking individual progress.

This website takes students on a virtual tour of Indonesia. Students can explore the islands of Sulawesi, Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi through fact files, photos, quizzes and activities.

Younger children can develop their listening skills by watching popular French children's program Trotro and Monde de Titounis.These vibrant videos are aimed at junior and middle primary students and support the development of vocabulary, listening skills, pronunciation and comprehension.

These sites provide high quality online and downloadable stories and picture books in French. Students can browse, read and listen at their own pace, or teachers can set specific texts with listening or comprehension activities.

Kids Web Japan is a helpful supplement to teachers’ Japanese language program, or for families wanting to learn about Japan. It provides a wide range of information about Japan, from basic facts to descriptions of Japanese lifestyle, culture, and traditions. There are also beginner language activities, as well as hiragana and katakana charts with sounds.

Quizlet is a website and app which can be used for testing understanding through flashcards, vocabulary-learning activities, and simple interactive quizzes. Choose from a wide range of free or paid sets, or make your own. Add audio, images and video to your sets with a paid subscription.

This website is an accessible and engaging resource for primary-aged students learning Italian. It provides clearly sequenced lessons with audio to support listening and pronunciation as students learn or revise the basics. The site also includes a number of children's stories, some with animations, read out in easy-to-understand Italian.
